Oluchi Ononiwu

Oluchi joined GSK as the Ethics and Compliance Manager – West Africa on 1st July 2019.

In this function, Oluchi is responsible for supporting GSK West Africa grow as a patient and consumer focused sustainable business via delivering the Consumer Healthcare Risk Management and Compliance programme, embedding effective Internal Controls and promoting culture based on GSK Values.

Oluchi began her career as an Auditor in KPMG Nigeria where she conducted statutory financial audits and other agreed upon procedures for several organizations in the energy and consumer market industries.

She later joined the Internal Control and Audit department of Lafarge Africa Plc and was later appointed to lead the Fraud Risk Management team.

As the Fraud Risk manager, Oluchi was in charge of the ethics and compliance initiative, the Integrity portal/whistleblowing line, anti-bribery and corruption initiative and fraud investigations for the entire Nigeria business comprising of 5 cement manufacturing plants, 9 ReadyMix plants and 1 aggregates quarry.

Oluchi holds a B.Sc degree in Accounting from the Imo State University, Owerri and an M.Sc degree in Financial Management from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri.

She is also a Certified Fraud Examiner with the International Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
